If you use PilatesJobs on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to act on its behalf.
2These terms and your use of PilatesJobs
Please read these terms before using our services. When you create an account or purchase a service, we will ask you to agree to the terms that apply.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains our use of cookies and similar technologies.
Additional terms may apply to particular services or packages. We will make these available before you purchase or use the relevant service.
3Our services
PilatesJobs helps connect Pilates professionals with studios, employers and recruiters.
Available services may include browsing vacancies, publishing job listings and submitting applications. The features included in any paid service will be described before purchase.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, PilatesJobs is not a party to any employment or contractor agreement made between a job seeker and an employer.
We do not guarantee that a listing will receive applications, that an applicant will secure work, or that an introduction will result in a hire.
Nothing in these terms removes any legal responsibilities that apply to PilatesJobs in providing its services.
4Accounts and security
Where an account is required, you must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
You must keep your login details secure and must not allow unauthorised people to use your account. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You must not impersonate another person, misrepresent your connection with an organisation or create an account for a business without its authority.
5Responsibilities of job seekers
When creating a profile or applying for a role, you must:
- Provide accurate information about your experience, qualifications and professional credentials.
- Only submit documents and other materials you are entitled to share.
- Avoid including confidential information belonging to another person or organisation.
- Communicate professionally with employers and other users.
You are responsible for considering whether an opportunity meets your needs and for reviewing the proposed pay, hours, location, employment status and other conditions before accepting it.
6Responsibilities of employers and recruiters
You must have authority to advertise each vacancy you submit.
Job listings must describe genuine opportunities and provide accurate, clear information about the role. Relevant details should include responsibilities, location, required qualifications, working arrangements, pay and whether the role is employed or self-employed.
You must:
- Comply with applicable employment, equality, advertising and data protection laws.
- Avoid discriminatory, misleading or unlawful requirements.
- Accurately describe pay, fees and any costs associated with the opportunity.
- Keep listings up to date and remove or close vacancies that are no longer available.
- Use applicant information only for legitimate recruitment purposes or another properly disclosed lawful purpose.
- Protect applicant information and restrict access to people who need it.
- Carry out the checks required for the role, including qualifications, right to work, references and insurance where applicable.
You must not use a vacancy to promote an unrelated product, collect personal information under false pretences or operate a fraudulent scheme.
These responsibilities do not replace any checks or duties that the law requires PilatesJobs to undertake.
7Job listings and moderation
We may review listings and other content to help maintain the quality and security of PilatesJobs.
We may ask you to correct a listing, decline to publish it or remove it if we reasonably believe it:
- Breaches these terms or applicable law.
- Contains inaccurate, misleading or discriminatory information.
- Advertises a fraudulent or non-existent opportunity.
- Infringes another person’s rights.
- Creates a security risk or could cause harm to users.
Where reasonably possible, we will explain our decision and give you an opportunity to address the issue. We may act immediately where necessary to prevent harm, protect the service or comply with the law.
Publication of a listing does not, by itself, mean that PilatesJobs endorses the employer or guarantees the opportunity.
To report a listing or request a review of a moderation decision, contact info@pilatesjobs.com.
8Prices and payments
Any fees, applicable taxes, listing duration and included features will be displayed before you place an order.
You must provide accurate billing information and pay using an accepted payment method.
Changes to prices will not affect services already purchased for an agreed period.
9Cancellations and refunds
You can request cancellation by contacting info@pilatesjobs.com with your order details.
If we cannot provide a paid service, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include an alternative service agreed with you or a refund for the part not provided.
A lack of applications or a failure to make a hire does not, by itself, mean that an advertising service has not been delivered.
10Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use PilatesJobs for unlawful, fraudulent or discriminatory purposes.
- Harass, threaten or abuse another person.
- Upload malicious software or interfere with the website’s operation.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems or information without permission.
- Collect or reuse CVs, contact details or other personal information without authorisation and a lawful basis.
- Send spam or unsolicited promotional messages.
- Copy or extract substantial parts of our listings or database without permission, except where permitted by law.
- Use the platform in a way that infringes another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
11Content you provide
You retain ownership of content you submit, including job descriptions, business logos, profiles and CVs.
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate the services you use. For example, this allows us to display your job listing or pass your application to the relevant employer.
Access to personal information remains subject to our Privacy Policy and the visibility settings explained when you use the service.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content and allow us to use it for these purposes.
12Our intellectual property
The PilatesJobs name, branding, website design and original website content belong to us or our licensors.
You may use the website for its intended purposes. You must not reproduce, sell or commercially exploit our branding or original content without permission, except where permitted by law.
13Third-party websites
Listings and other parts of PilatesJobs may link to websites operated by employers, recruiters, payment providers or other organisations.
Those organisations are responsible for their own websites and services. Please review their terms and privacy policies before providing information or completing a transaction.
14Availability and changes to services
We aim to provide a reliable service, but access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where practical, we will give notice of planned interruptions that materially affect paid services.
If we need to withdraw or materially reduce a service you have already paid for, we will explain the change and offer an appropriate remedy for any undelivered part.
15Suspension and account closure
You may close your account by deleting your account within the application. Closing an account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription unless the cancellation process expressly says so.
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe there has been a serious or repeated breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, a security risk or a legal requirement to do so.
Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Immediate action may be necessary in urgent cases.
Any outstanding payments, refunds and handling of retained personal information will be dealt with under these terms, our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
16Our responsibility to you
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of statements made by users or the actions of an employer, recruiter or applicant. This does not exclude responsibility for our own conduct or any verification duties imposed on us by law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
17Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, legal requirements or the way the platform operates.
We will publish the updated terms with a revised date and give reasonable advance notice of material changes affecting existing users, unless an urgent legal or security reason requires earlier action.
Changes will not apply retrospectively to an existing paid order unless required by law or agreed with you. If a proposed change materially disadvantages you during an ongoing paid service, we will explain your options, including any right to end the service and receive a refund for the unused part.
18Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, please contact info@pilatesjobs.com with the relevant details. We will investigate and aim to resolve the issue fairly.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
