About RE.FORMER
RE.FORMER is a new boutique reformer and cardio rebounder studio opening November 2026 at 89 Main Street in Nyack, NY. Every class is 45 minutes, built for men and women, and designed to challenge everyone from first-timers to athletes.
Our lineup:
• RE.BUILD — strength-focused reformer
• RE.IGNITE — high-energy rebounder and light weights
• RE.NEW — our beginner program
The role
We're hiring 4–5 founding instructors to open the studio with us. You'll teach on our Elite reformers and rebounders, help shape the class experience from day one, and become a familiar face for our founding members.
Our style is challenging but never bootcamp: warm, precise coaching that meets beginners where they are and still pushes athletes.
What you'll do
• Teach 45-minute reformer and/or rebounder classes across our three formats
• Cue clearly and offer modifications and progressions so every client, beginner to athlete, gets a real workout
• Keep every class safe: check machine setup, springs and form, and flag equipment issues
• Welcome clients by name, help first-timers get oriented, and build a loyal following
• Arrive early to set the room and stay a few minutes after to reset and connect
• Use Arketa to view your roster, check clients in and manage your schedule
• Help promote your classes and the studio on social media and in the community
• Bring ideas to the team as we refine class formats in our first months
Who you are:
• A background in Pilates or reformer-based fitness (certification or equivalent teaching experience)
• Comfortable leading a full room with energy and clear verbal cues
• Reliable, punctual and able to commit to a regular weekly schedule, including some early mornings, evenings or weekends
• Current CPR/AED a plus — not required
• Able to complete RE.FORMER's reformer and rebounder training before opening
Nice to have:
• Experience on high-intensity reformer machines or rebounders
• Group fitness, dance or athletic coaching background
• New instructors with strong movement backgrounds are welcome to apply. Training is provided.
Pay and details
• Employment: W-2 employee, part-time
• Pay: per-class base rate plus a per-head bonus for every client in your class
• Training: studio-led reformer and rebounder training in October–November, before opening
• Location: 89 Main Street, Nyack, NY
• Start: soft opening November 16, 2026
